When is the best time to work up your muscles?

Often,I do work up and got some muscles soreness and shall I carry on or rest for a few day to heal? Some says it best to have gentle massage on it to boost it recover. Continue to train will have no benefit.

  4. When my muscles feel wrecked, I work out again, it works great.  Just don't over-do it, and you should be fine.  And don't forget to stretch! No one does that, and it is so important for you!  What good is strength without any flexibility?

  5. About 30 minutes to an hour after you wake up is the best time to exercise.  It'll boost your energy for the rest of the day.  Wait anouther 30 minutes and eat a good breakfast (anything with protein:  eggs, banana, whole wheat toast and maybe a protein shake).

    It's good to have a ONE DAY rest in between.  The soreness is your muscles healing themselves, which burns calories and tones at the same time.  Try doing stretches before and after exercising and on your "off days".
