i've been on it before, i would say at least 4 months. i stopped taking it cause i always forgot to take it at the exact time ever day. I'm mostly on for cramps. and since I'm starting to be more sexually active, i still use condoms but i know one more thing to protect myself won't hurt. but really i just want to know when some of you girls take yours....my life isn't that really hectic. i'm fresh out of high school and just want to get steady job before i go back to school. also what brand of birth control do you use and would you suggest it? i want to find the perfect one for me.

  1. Before you go to sleep--you can put it by your bed, and you'll not forget. Otherwise, you could set your cell phone alarm to go off to remind you at 10:30 every night or something. It's difficult to say which is best--everyone is different.

  2. Loestrin 21.  I take myn at night:) i keep it by my alarm clock so when i turn it on i see it. And i take the pack starting on sunday so my period comes on a monday or tuesday and is mostly over by the next weekend:)

  3. put it on your night stand and take it before bed.

remember you only need to miss 2 a month for it to be not as effective.

otherwise, consider the depo shot or an IUD.

  4. There is a shot you can get every three months (I think that's the time frame) and the Nuvaring which is inserted into the v****a.  You will have to change it once a month, but that shouldn't be too difficult to remember.

I always remembered to take my birth control by setting the alarm on my cell phone.
