When is the carnaval in Barcelona this year??

I heard it's in february but i wanna know the exact date

I'm pretty sure it's the same date all over the world.  It would be ending the day before Ash Wednesday, which, this year, is Feb 6, so zweig's date would be the first day of the celebration?  Starting on Saturday?

Check the Barcelona carneval website.. Unfortunately the city websites are usually only updated about a week so so before the actual event.. http://www.bcn.es/carnaval/
