When is the cheapest time to buy an international plane ticket? Earlier or later?

It's always cheaper to book earlier.  Last minute deals don't usually exist, because airlines know that business people or people who need to fly last minute for emergencies, etc. are willing to pay any price to get on the flights they need.  You'll also have better luck finding the flight times and connections you want if you book earlier.

It really depends on where you are going.  I'd say if it is a popular destination such as London or Paris, it might be better to wait and check deals daily.  There are many flights daily to these destinations.  A destination like Ankara, Turkey or Nairobi, Kenya, it is probably wiser to lock in your ticket.

It's best to get the ticket earlier to avoid paying too much for the ticket.For some reason I don't know why it's always cheaper to get it in advance.
