When is the deadline to get the pell grant for this year of College?

June 30, 2009 is the deadline for this 08/09 school year to get pell. If you are late on applying you may have to pay out of pocket and see about possible reinbursement. You could acctually pay and go to class for Fall, Winter and Spring quarter then apply and they will give you check for those quarters if you qualified.

Make sure you put in the right code for your school you want to attend if you cant find it on the list call the school and ask for it.

After filling out the form you must wait for the school to send the info about your Student Aid in the mail this is what takes a while. After the school has recieved it they must process it and then they will send you a letter stateing how much Aid you qualifly for.

pell grant are fed not state funded. you have well into the 2009 year to apply for the 08-09 year on the fafsa website. it's the state grants that have early deadlines and they vary depending on your state. you can find those deadlines on the fafsa website as well.
