  1. To maximize your chances of getting student financial aid, submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1 of the year for which you are requesting aid. So for you that's Jan 1, 2009.

  3. Applications are accepted from Jan 1st to March 30, this is to get priority money, go on the website and it will give you the info you need.
