  1. YOur actual CYCLE lasts for about a month.  Menstration lasts about five or so days.  Your cycle begins when the bleeding starts.

  2. The menstrual cycle ends when the blood stops flowing

  3. The end of your menstrual cycle is the day before your next period begins.

Say you have a 28 day cycle. You bleed the first week or so, that is the follicular phase of your period. Then ovulation occurs. From ovulation to your next period is called your luteal phase. Your next cycle starts the day you start to bleed again.

You bleed then 14 days or so later on average-again the follicular phase- ovulation occurs. Ovulation being your body releasing an egg. When your egg is not fertilized by sperm another 14 or so days later-luteal phase your body rids of the egg by pretty much scrapping the lining of your uterus and this is why you bleed..

  4. Your menstrual cycle will end when the bleeding stop's. Hope i helped!

  5. when the bleeding and spotting stops.
