When is the first day of school in boston?

I'm moving back to boston after i was living in dominican republic and i leave on the 22, and i was wondering when does school start. my family in boston already applied to some high schools like: hyde park high, english high, west roxbury high. can you also tell me if there's a schools supply list (i doubt it but u never know)
