When is the ideal age to start being an entreprenuer in Singapore?

Ah, Singapore.

My last visit there (2 years ago) left me quite surprised at the affinity of the people there willing to go into business for themselves ( and listen to speakers like myself discussing Entrepreneurship).

From what I remember, the business laws in Singapore require one to be of "adult age" (I'm sure for tax and licensing purposes).

However, I am also aware that many, many teens there are currently providing incomes for themselves and their families via the Internet. (check your local regulations)

From my experience with the folks there---they enjoy the Internet, so that may be a good option to consider.

Find a need that the consumers want to be filled (hopefully something you know about and like to do) then find a way to fill that need.

Do some 'Net research--look at the current trends (Google Trends is one way), read the papers---doing so will uncover many things (needs) that will be possible to fill.

Remember also what trends may arise in the next 2-5 years, and research ways to bring some of those products or services to the needy market.

Take a few weeks to make a concentrated effort to "see" what is really in demand or needed.

Then decide whether $200 will get you in business.

It is not unlikely that you can do it.

Especially if you could provide a service or product via online efforts.

in this digital age. you can start a business as long as you know how to type and reply emails properly. $200 is more than enough. Of cos it depends on what you want to do. The key ingredient any business is your attitude. If you have a positive attitude towards all things, you will be successful in all areas of life.
