They won the title in '04.  There was no shot at a 3-peat.  LSU won it in '03 and Texas won it in '05.  You have to win two in a row for a shot at a 3-peat.

You people seriously need to stop hating on USC. Who else reloads and are National Championship contenders EVERY year? If you want to talk about biased opinions in the media, how about giving so much hype to an overrated Ohio State? They schedule WEAK out of conference games, and they have a weak conference to begin with.

2004 they were the consensus champ i think, but before that they werent undisputed champs since 1972

i hope USC has a notre dame-esque year this seasona nd only wins 3 games

The year before they blew a 12 point lead with 6:30 minutes left in the game, when Vince Young took over for the horns and won the national championship. I remember the week leading up to that game everybody was talking about the USC would repeat but in the end they didn't and the longhorns beat them. When they won their last undisputed national championship game they destroyed Oklahoma just like OU always chokes in big bowl games. Agianst LSU, USC, Boise State, and West Virginia.

They cant win one on their own so the biased media tries to anoint them the champs. Its a shame because they are a good team but the media makes them look like beggars. The media needs to be boycotted until they decide to cover the news and not give their opinion.
