  1. September-November and April-May are considered off-season.  My husband and I have actually found the best deals to be in early December though.  The weather (when we were there last December) was actually nicer than when we had gone previously in April.  I think weather is really just the luck of the draw, as Ireland rains a lot no matter what time of year.  We are actually going back again December 7-15 of this year.  I like traveling this time of year, because aside from it being less crowded with tourists, all the Christmas decorations are up, and the cities look really beautiful.

  2. Middle of January to April, and middle of September to november. Good enough, yes, my dear?

  3. Hi-

You're better off coming over here in October if you're coming out of season.

Avoid Christmas/new year-airports are packed with Irish returning home for holidays.

Jan-April weather generally pretty bad but still some warmth here in October (first half) and longer daylight before we turn the clocks back to wintertime.

You should be able to book a good deal then and avoid the crowds.

    See you when you're here!!

  4. We go to Ireland every year.  www.travelocity is going to have your best deals, & also www.aerlingus.com directly.  If you have soem time you can play around the site & punch in different dates & see their prices.  Yes summer months are the priciest, & peak, but that is when you get the best weather.  MAy is actually pretty good weather too.  If weather is not a factor, & and a bargain is, it is the winter months.  Good luck & Enjoy your trip!

  5. July and August is peak season. Check out lonelyplanet.com or iexplore.com. I would probably go 2 to 3 months before the peak season. I suggest May or June for the best deals and warm weather
