  2. Confidence: I can do this...

Arrogance: I can do this better than anyone else...

  3. Confidence: takes no for an answer.

    Arrogance: doesn't.

    Well, that's just one example.

  4. When you go from feeling confident you can do something well to thinking you're better than others.

  5. Confidence admits misktakes, arrogant does not.

  6. when your girlfriend breaks up with you, you go from confident boyfriend to arrogant ex-boyfriend

  7. I can't right now think of a concrete example...

But when you are talking to someone, say a fellow competitor for something, I think the confident one thinks they do well or will win and the arrogant one thinks they have already won.

Plus it's vibes, which I can't sum up in words so well. When someone's arrogant, you can just tell - something about being with them rubs you up the wrong way in a way you can't define but can definitely feel.

  8. Confidence is a feeling or consciousness of one's powers or of reliance on one's circumstances.

Arrogance is a feeling or an impression of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or presumptuous claims.

Therefore you crossed the line to arrogance when you are basing your confidence on something you don't "truly" have.

  9. confidence is where you feel good about yourself you cross the line into arrogance when you think your better than other people

  10. If you're confident, you're able to make mistakes, acknowledge them but keep on trying. If you're arrogant, then you believe that you don't make mistakes, so learn nothing.
