I think November is a lovely time to travel. Keep in mind it's still hurricane season (June 1 to Nov 30)

The Caribbean does NOT have a monsoon season. The season that I think you are referring to is the 'hurricane' season. It lasts on average from June to October, but has been known to begin earlier and end later.

November is good time to go to Caribbean, it's not peak-season so prices at hotels will be a little lower than if you were going in the middle of summer.

I went with my hubby to the DR in November and it was glorious, amazingly hot with only one or two showers.
