8/21 will be ur most fertile day. my obgyn told me to count 14 days since the first day of your period and you have 5 days to conceive.

The only time you can conceive is when you ovulate.  However, it's possible to sperm to stay alive inside you for a few days, and then fertilize the egg when it is released.

Tracing your cycle/ovulation is really the only way to know when your best chance of conception is.  You can do this naturally (taking your BBT, checking cervical mucus, that kind of thing), and also with the help of ovulation predictor kits.
