  1. It isn't, yet. It's still in the "consultation" phase until the Autumn, after which you can bet there will be  a lengthy period of bickering and tweaking before they even get around to submitting it to the Parliamentary process.

In short, there's nothing set in stone, it's still a proposal.

  2. Ugh. I bet that'll come in about 2 weeks before i'm 17 as well.. (next june). Murphy's Law and all that jazz ruin my life!

  3. The majority of changes are made in September by the DSA, also their test support products are updated. 2007 artwork was yellow, and 2008 is now blue.

If you take both Tests for Class B, Before September 2008, then you shouldn't be affected. The test age as 18, was also 'all talk but no action'.

  4. Hello Netty,  i`m sorry i  cannot answer this Q but on all questions of this type the short cut information is available at :-  DVLA, Swansea, AA. RAC. or your local driving school.

    Hope this will help.

  5. when can i sign up. I want to take the instructor for an "independent driving" part of the test. Will use my Porsche. Want to see if the instructor will lose his lunch when i 4 wheel drift around the corners or do a 360 in an intersection.

To learn how to properly drive in the UK, just watch "Death Race 2000"  They score points in the movie just like they do in the UK.
