  1. I imagine it will be Ruslan Chagaev and Nikolay Valuev sometime this summer as Valuev has won an elliminator making him the number one contender for Chagaev's WBA heavyweight championship. Nothing is scheduled yet but I'm hoping it will take place this summer. The other two champions Wladimir Klitchko and Samuel Peter have just fought opponents within the last few weeks so it is only natural that Chagaev who hasn't fought since January should make the next defense.

Otherwise it may be Samuel Peter and Vitali Klitchko fighting next or Wladimir Klitchko fighting a mandatory defense against possibly Alexander Povetkin.

  2. I just want to point out the BS, Klitchko's trying to pull out right now:

since Peter beat Maskaev, he's in line for Unification fight with younger Klitchko (who's a titleholder too), but older one (which to my knowledge is retired) wants to make a comeback and fight Peter (right away, next Peter's fight). So Peter will have harder time with older Klitchko, cause we all saw what Peter did to younger one in the first fight (even thou he lost the decision).

Then, if older Klitchko beats Peter and becomes the titleholder too, the Klitchko's won't fight each other, and we not gonna see any Real, Unified Champion any time soon!

It sucks noodles! that's why I say: Peter must fight younger Klitchko again, then if Peter wins (I'm sure he'll knock the daylight out of Klitchko this time), let him fight the older one too, just for fun of it!

This way we gonna have unified champ!

Also overrated robot-brothers will be beaten, which Corrie Sanders should have done long time ago!!! (I'm still mad at Sanders for being not serious and not finishing the job he started with younger Klitchko!)

    that's my 2 centavos...

  3. probably chagaev vs. valuev.

i hear that golota-peter is in the works, and since peter didnt have any cuts/injuries that would prevent him from fighting, and his training regimen apparently consists of watching film and eating cheeseburgers, i wouldnt be surprised if that fight happens before the valuev-chagaev fight.
