I am guessing you meant top 3 in ranking as every tournament will have top 3 seeds in it. It will be the Roger's cup in Toronto (Jul 21-27). Last year, Djokovic did the rare hat-trick of beating World No.1, 2 and 3 to win it.  Federer has to reach the finals and Nadal has to reach the semis to defend their points from 2007. So I doubt Nadal will make up much ground against Federer unless the Fed loses early in this tourney.

Its the ATP masters series in Canada(the rogers cup) which starts on the 21st of July where Djokovic will defend his title.

Then theres the Cinncinatti masters series right after which will also have the best players there and Federer is defending his title their.

As Nadal didnt do as well as Federer last year here he has less ranking points to defend so if he carrys on playing well theres a good chance he could be world no.1 after these events as theyre big events.
