I was watching history channel and found out our galaxy will collide with our neighbor galaxy. Will that happen before or after the sun exploding? And when will that happen in years?

Galaxy collisions are unimpressively boring.  They take hundreds of millions of years, and there is so much space between the stars, that other than the change in gravity, nothing really changes that much.  

In fact, our own Milky Way has been "colliding"  (perhaps swallowing up is a better terminology) two smaller galaxies for the last several hundred thousand years.  The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds have been gradually becoming a part of our own for quite some time.

As far as the sun exploding, not much for you to worry about there.  It will be about 5 billion years before it fuses enough of it's hydrogen for it to become a red giant.
