When is the proper time to put your hummingbird feeders away for the winter ?

Not all hummingbirds are migratory.  Some stay in the same area year-round so I never put mine away.  Leave yours out with fresh nectar mix in it and just see how many are still counting on that as their energy source.  You are NOT keeping them from their natural migration by providing this service for them.  Your feeder will be a great source of food for those that stay and also a spot for others to rest and feed as they do migrate through your area.
