  1. You should no in your heart you and you alone no when the time is right

  2. around age 26-30 is the right time for a first marriage.  It gives you time to enjoy yourself while your young.  And time to have kids.  Before it's too late.  You know?  But that's just my opinion, you can get married at any age when you feel ready. :)

  3. When you and your partner are ready.

  4. When the union is financially viable.

  5. Not sure if you can put a time frame on it; I have seen some get married after a few short months and some never get married, but you know they will stay together for ever. Guess the question you have to ask yourself is how long are you willing to wait? If it seems like it is too long, maybe you need to find the relationship that works for you! Good luck, and I don't think you should wait forever!

  6. the right time for marriage is when ever you feel it is right. Everyone will have a diffrent opinion and people will think its when your past 25 and all sorts of stuff. but when its time you will know and there is no such thing as getting married too early I got married on my 17th birthday and no I wasnt pregnant or anything like that I just found the right one and now I am 23 and Im still happily married.

  7. Whenever both parties are convinced that what they both feel for each other is love and you're both mature emotionally and financially.

  8. After a long period of dating and engagement.  Know each other at least 3 years before you tie the knot.

  9. Since marriage is a strong commitment to your partner, you must be ready for this. For me, the right time for marriage is depends upon the person. You can be married at the age of 30-40. The only requisite for this is only your own preparation. Once you are married, it is forever (for Catholics).

  10. You can't put a "time" setting on these kinds of things. I don't think there is any "theological" idea that deals with time but rather with preparedness. The main theological perspective, I can think of is that the two people should not be "unequally yoked," which means their beliefs should not be in conflict and they should be ready to work together, side by side not one in front of the other. The New Testament also speaks of submitting to one-another in the right way. The two must understand that they do not belong to themselves anymore but to eachother. That being said, marriage and theology should penetrate every aspect of life together. Financially, you and the other person should be financially secure, which means that neither one has outstanding debts, at least one has substantial savings (anywhere from 3 to 6 months worth of income saved up), and an income that has been budgeted for at least three people. Medical and life insurance are also a must. Money is the biggest cause of arguments and can even lead to divorce. By education I mean that if either person wants to get a degree they should do it before the marriage otherwise, it is like the two people are living separate lives. Emotional insecurity and immaturity often lead to grudges, name-calling and verbal and emotional abuse or neglect. Relationally, if one person does not know how to relate to others chances are they are not going to relate well in marriage. When two people get married, they are the only ones in the marriage: not the in-laws, not the friends, relatives, co-workers, counselors, etc. The Bible says that the two should become one in the bond of marriage. If they cannot communicate with eachother and take eachother seriously there are relational problems. Emotion and relational problems are often do to traumatic experiences which should first be dealt with. It's more than being in love, it's loving eachother enough to do the work necessary to keep both of you together, before and during marriage.

  11. Don't get married too young.  Like under 25.  You both need to grow up a bit and see if you don't grow apart.
