I believe this year's 80th Royal Variety Performance will be presented on Thursday, 11 December 2008.  Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Edinburgh and Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II are expected to attend the performance.  Her Majesty is the patron of the event.

    It will be held in

    "London Palladium, Argyll Street, London, W1A 3AB"

    It should be shown on BBC, presumably live.
