"Fallible"

Where have I fallen;

why did I fall?

It was

so peaceful

before.

Live intervened,

condemned.

I believe it was

worthwhile.

How could I be

so horribly human...

so horribly wrong?

  1. I am puzzled by Live intervened....should it be Life intervened?

Another small point....you have 'I believe it was worthwhile'

but then say 'How could I be/so horribly human...so horribly wrong?'

'I believed it was worthwhile' makes more sense (ie at the time you believed it was worthwhile, but now you've changed your mind)

    What do you think?

Are you still feeling sad?  Is it because of Siren?

We are all human, and fallible - that's what makes us who we are.

  2. when i fail to die

    it is not.

    when you fail and live

    it is not.

    accept a hand.

    it is human.

    ( i like what Sher & Sptfyr said )

  3. Our flaws are part of our beauty, they make us each unique and keep us striving to better ourselves everyday. There is nothing horrible about you, and your words contribute something great to this world.

  4. Let none of us be overawed

Because each wakes one day to find

That all of man and womankind

Was from the first day flawed.

Thank you for a work of wise introspection.

  5. You captured the meaning of Fallible completely, especially in these stanzas:

    How could I be

    so horribly human...

    so horribly wrong?

    Excellent poem. Again.

  6. To be human is to work out - with your spirit - upon the world.  To strengthen the soul and clarify its definition - its main vibration and purpose.  To err is to learn - to strengthen - correct - and clarify. Thereby - giving individualism and strength to the soul. ♥

  7. Not horrible to be human or to be wrong, It would be horrible not to

discover both are a possibility, of our own.

    Interesting thoughts penned.

  8. It's astounding how you can use so few, perfectly selected words, and create such a thought provoking poem with so much meaning.  Very nice.

I'm glad I'm flawed...makes me more interesting and unpredictable ;)

  9. Discovering our fallibility is the day we attain full adulthood.

How good it is to have the right to be wrong!
