When is the time to advertise in a day , and why?

it depends on who u r aiming 4.  if children  3:30 pm-5:00 pm would b best becuse They watch it more then.  if adults   6:00 pm-7:00 pm  cause thats when the news is on

Often intuition can help, but most of the time we have to test to find the best period for a certain product.  You must have good analytics tools like Google Analytics to help you see the patterns for your industry - narrowed down by keyword.  Sometimes this is easy but often it is elusive.

Many companies do a lot of business on the phone after people find their websites.  For these, we turn "down" advertising after hours when nobody is available to answer the phone.  Or in some cases we change to a different ad and landing page that emphasizes online contact or changes the phone number to an answering service.
