  1. Sounds like your body hasn't had the opportunity to go full cycle.  I know what its like to be so anxious...the first month we actually tried to conceive I bought 8 pregnancy tests because I started testing too soon.  All I did was get frusterated and weepy...I actually made myself feel like I was pregnant from thinking about it too much.  Go with the flow if it happens it happens.  I would give it another week...if you don't start you could always test to ease your uncertainty.

  2. most pregnancy tests nowadays say that they can determine pregnancy before you even miss a period.  First Response says their test can detect the pregnancy hormone (hCG) at least five days before a missed period.

i have always used this brand and have always had an accurate result.  consumer reports even rates it as the best pregnancy test.  and it is reasonably priced.  i usually get a 2 pack that offers a third free test for about $13.

also, your first morning urine is the best time to take a test as the pregnancy hormone is usually at its highest concentration.

  3. Wait to see if your period comes, if it doesn't come the day you expect it, take a test the next day. Testing too soon will just give you negative which you don't want to see. Been there, done that. Best of luck
