When it rains, why does the temperature feel warmer?

if it rains on a hot day it starts to evaperate or turn to steam when this happens it fells humid or muggy. this makes it fell warmer.

When there is rain,the falling rain makes the air near the surface cooler and making it also to condense into water droplets.This condensation releases latent heat  of condensation(as the change of matter is from a  higher stage to a lower stage).Hence we feel warmer.
