Me and my bf of 3 months(as of today actually) have been very rocky lately and had an ongoing fight the past week about him calling his ex. On top of that, his brothers are advising him to break up with me, and my family and friends are advising me to break up with him. Its hard to let go of someone who you've been with constantly though for 3 months... i care about him alot, however all trust is gone in the relationship and i know by that alone that its time to really move on. I cant stand the thought of him being with another girl though? How do I move on fully? and how much time do you think it will take based on a 3 month relationship?

  1. Ending a relationship is like taking off a band-aid.  You kinda pick around the edges a little bit till you can get a grip and then you just rip that sucker off FAST.  You lose a little hair with the band-aid, but it's off and done with and you can throw it in the garbage can.

  2. When you have lost the trust with your bf, it is better to cut off totally from him.  Any lingering thoughts will go away with time.  Just allow time to do its magic.  It is only a short time.

don't dwell in the past, move on.  You will overcome that idiot and carry on with your life.

    good luck and god bless

  3. Three months is nothing.  Wait until you have to leave after 12 years.  You just need to open your eyes and realize that you are wasting your young years (that you can not get back) on a dead end relationship.  The value of your life is worth letting go of such a short term relationship.

I  had to let go of a 12 year one.  I so wish I had those years, that I wasted. back today!!!

It will take a bit of time to get over it, but it would take longer, the longer you stay.  It took me almost 3 years to be able to even get close to anyone else.  I had waited way too long before I left!!

  4. About 1 week and you should be good to go again.  Don't be surprised if one of his friends comes sniffing around within the next couple of months.

  5. A funeral.

  6. go on a trip far away
