When knitting a sock heal what does slip one stitch mean?

  1. it's moving one stitch over with out knitting it.


  2. just slide the next stitch over onto the other needle and ignore it. Don't knit it.

  3. Slip one stitch means that you take the stitch on your left needle and just slip it to your other needle.  Sometimes shows on knitting patterns as "sl1".
