  1. i really believe so. listens and also questions to check whether or not it is knowledge speaking and also to get as much of it as possible.

  2. am speaking

  3. All in due time ;)

  4. It close it's eyes and concentrate.

  5. Yes, but it rarely works the other way around.  That's why the knowledgeable can wind up so deluded SO easily.

  6. We learn so much knowledge in our lifetime, but it doesn't necessarily mean that we get wise from it. Although wisdom is learnt from experience, there is some knowledge that might be kind of useless and we may never need it again. So, no, i dont think wisdom always listens...

  7. not only listen... it also...

    acknowledges.

  8. Without question, yes it does. Otherwise, how can one be wise?

There are many who know many things, yet are lacking in wisdom. ~ Democritus

  9. There is so little wisdom... and without wisdom knowledge is absolutely useless. I've know only two wise people in my life... and I've been around for a while. There were a few who showed glimmers of wisdom, but, even with those, I could count them on one hand.

Knowledge isn't all it's cracked up to be. People used to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Earth was flat and was the center of the universe. Medicine used to know that leeches were the cure for illness. And psychologists know that if you don't act the way they think you should, there's something wrong with you... notwithstanding that they disagree on exactly how they think you're supposed to act.

Wisdom is more of an understanding and acceptance of the limits thereof. Wisdom is objective. Wisdom has nothing to do with convention or political correctness, or what others may think. Most people don't like wisdom.

Perhaps when wisdom speaks, those who think they have knowledge should listen a little more.

  10. I would say yes. You gain wisdom through knowledge. If you have no knowledge of a certain subject then your not wise to it or your ignorant too that subject. I don't think you can be wise and have no knowledge of anything.

  11. A wise person should listen to knowledgeable people.

  12. Mr Wisdom listens....

    ......he listens all the time...

but when it's his turn to speak.....

....Mr Knowledge is too d@mn proud....

and doesn't even make a single glance....

  13. No.

Wisdom only listens to the smart part.

  14. One  must have knowledge  is  be  wise  but knowledge alone does not make a person wise. To get wisdom , one needs to have common sense , general knowledge and experience.
