I'm looking to lease a Mazda3 i-sport for 24th. I have a Z-plan and should get the car at dealer invoice.

What are charges I should look for other than licensing and taxes?

  1. Leasing company

       Monthly payment, before taxes

       Monthly payment, incl. taxes

       Original down payment

       Security deposit

Purchase Option at end of lease

       Total Kilometre allowance

       Excess km charge

       Original lease term (months)

       Lease expiry date

How many miles/km's are on the car Today

This should help you out as a start. If you need more help, look through a few ads on car lease depot website.

Have a great day and good luck with your Mazda3 i-sport! :)

    Tony.

  2. In a lease, you typically pay the following up front:

    - First month's payment

    - Possibly a security deposit (about equal to a month's payment), depending on your credit score

    - Down payment (cap cost reduction), which is optional for most leases

    - Sales tax on down payment

    - Official tag and registration fees in your state

Some leases require that you pay the bank fee (acquisition fee) up front. Others simply include it in the lease. The fee is usually about $495-$995.

There will likely be a lease-end disposition fee of about $350 but you don't pay that until lease-end, when you also get your security deposit back.

At lease-end, assuming you return your car, you may have to pay excess mileage charges if you exceed the total miles allowed by the lease. You may also have to pay for any damages that you haven't repaired.

  3. They will charge you for your registration on the new car, and for a state inspection, and for the document fee for the title, lots of state have a tire fee on new cars (not much its $12.50 in NY)

none of these things should cost that much, if they charge you more than $300 in fees I would have them explain everything to you, the only one they can really get you wilth is the doc fee for the title, if thats more than $60 i would question it.

The good thing with the z-plan is you dont have to worry about the price of the car at all, its all ready as cheap as you can get and the dealer MUST give you EVERY rebate avaible and is NOT allowed to change the price in anyway.

One thing they are not allowed to do is throw in any freebees, mud flaps or whatever with the z-plan. The fine from Ford is $10,000 per infraction on that and thier are some Ford dealers near me that lost thier franchise because of it, so if your dealer is willing to "throw in" some extra items they are probably the kind of guys that will try to whack you with the "fees".  if you feel they are trying to whack you just tell them, and if need be go somewhere else, z-plan is z-plan no matter where you go.

  4. Depends on what you are required to put down, normally the down payment includes, first months payment, tax and title it just depends on what incentives are going on, ask your dealer what are the start up costs and what do you need at sign and drive.
