...on what do you base your final decision?

Do you base your decision on past experience, or do you recognise the fact that a situation or a person can change?

Is there a pattern connected with gender in this issue?

  1. I've ended up in a bad way when reacting to one OR the other, whether it be complete logic or complete physical reaction.

I've had to learn (and I am still learning) how to keep my mouth shut and hear what I'm going to say in my mind, before I say it aloud. Sometimes, I'll even sleep on it now to avoid the dilemma of 'wish I wouldn't' or 'I should have'.

I think women may have a greater pattern than men to say what's on their mind at the moment where as men may not feel as big a need to share their feelings right off the bat if there is a difference in opinion....but, that's coming from a woman's point of view.

  2. Your eyes & heart are at times a false sense. Reason and logic when it comes to 'relationships' are a more stable rout to take.

I know a lot of ppl that give into their 'heart' and it's so ugh! because they know they put themselves in situations they know they don't deserve to be in. I ask, "For what?"

There are plenty of ppl on this planet. Find one that is compatable on more levels.

Leaving something that one has put time & effort into is hard but if it's they right thing to do (and you know if it is) then it can only be benificial.

  3. I can always trust my heart. I am really tuned in though so it never steers me wrong. If someone isn't as tuned it they could be confused. You can never depend on a person to change. If you want respect you have to give it to yourself & if you are with someone disrespectful you are not respecting yourself.
