  1. I don't saw any double after I've pressed my eyeball. It just make my vision blurr. And changed the view.


  2. because you have 2 eyes. Normally they track and your brain superimposes the two images. Push one off, and you see 2 images.

  3. When you focus on an object, you are actually seeing two images - one with each eye. Your mind automatically merges the two images into one.

    Try this:

    Look at an object in the distance. While staying focused on that object, hold a finger up about 6 inches from your nose. You will see two fingers instead of one.

    Now focus on your finger. You will see two images of the object in the distance.

    Why?

    Your mind can only merge the images of one of the items at a time (either your finger or the distant object, but not both at the same time).
