Im 15 this year, and im looking for a job for the 1st time. i was wondering firstly, how u go about looking for a job in the first place, (e.g. can u jst go inside a store and ask if they are hiring, and if u do, r the bigger stores like target or k-mart always hiring?, or do u hav to wait until they advertise?), and secondly, where can u recommend as a good place to get a job?

Go in and ask if they have any application forms or maybe a web site where they post job vacancies. Large companies are good to start with because they usually have proper training procedures and correct pay rates. Target, Kmart, maccas, big companies like that have a pretty good reputation and are a good starting ground for young people just getting into the work force. Be positive, polite and persistent.
