When looking for a tradepersons in local papers do you go to the first one you find?

Say you looking for a plumber, there are five ads for plumbers do you phone the first ad or do you phone for the closes company to your home.

Don`t use local papers for services there are lots of fly by night rogue traders.

I would rather ask friends or workmates who they can recommend.Otherwise i go for yellow pages and look for trader persons or business that were operating for a minimum of ten years onwards.

Ask around,

There are alot of bodger's and rogues.

If you call up for a simple problem and they say £400 because you need a new blah blah blah blah..

Ignore em and call another company.
