When machine gets to spin cycle, it stops. It wont drain water.

model is a kenmore 70's series super capacity plus with 3 speed motor and 4 water levels. approx 3 yrs old.

Billy try advancing timer by hand to spin cycle, if washing machine still does not spin something is in pump blade, remove discharge hose from pump, to make sure nothing is blocking pump blade.  Other things, would be broken belt going to spin pump broken or bad timer.  My first guess will be someing not letting pump spin.

probably the pump or you programmer is gone

Check to see if the filter is blocked.  It can usually be found at the bottom of the machine somewhere.  It gets blocked with pieces of material from the clothes.
