  1. Both.  One is actually the zip code of the city it is going to.

For example (not a real address)

                                Mr. Somebody

                                (Name of Street) 42

                                B-1410 Waterloo

                                Belgium

Where 42 would be the house or apt. number, B-1410 would be the zip for the city of Waterloo and then the next line would be the country.

  2. You ONLY need the Country....however any additional information that you provide will increase the probability that it will arrive without problems.

  3. It is best to have the country code also.  It depends on the mail service in the other country. The codes are generally like our zip codes. You can do without, but as international mail is so slow to begin with, I would not as it will delay package even longer.

  4. you need both in case!! i mailed something to africa and you must it must be distinct.

their mailing system is different and to avoid

    mistakes or mishaps

    put both

  5. just the country.

but you need to fill in the phone number, and use the country code for the phone number

  6. Both is safer.  I once mailed something to Germany, using the country code (DE) and it came back for no such address in Delaware!  LOL!

But some foreign post offices may not recognize the english language version of the country, and our post office may not recognize the country code.
