I can do both, in your honest opinion, which is best for a baby blanket? Knitting? or Crocheting?

Just wondering what the masses think. Thanks!

  1. I do both and prefer to knit, but crochet is quicker so is better for blankets.  You can even use the afghan stitch (which doesn't leave holes) and then cross stitch a picture onto it.

  2. Actually, crocheting can produce a heavier fabric than knitting depending on the stitch pattern you use.

But whichever you prefer doing is what will work best for you!

  3. Knitting as the stiches are closer together and therefore it will be warmer for baby.

  4. Crochet is much prettier and lacier, but knitting makes a warmer blanket.
