When making root beer can i sub champagne yeast for baking yeast?

  1. Champagne yeast will give you a more alcoholic root beer. This is one time you might want to brew with bakers' yeast.


  2. I don't know about the yeast question, but I'm pretty sure you can get baking yeast at the grocery store. I don't want your root beer to turn out gross!
