  1. What about one time expenses like furniture and kitchen appliances and utensils?  And also once in a while expenses like toilet paper and household cleaning supplies.

  2. Good job You have covered pretty much everything...

    Except "savings" or "Emergency savings"

Whatever you might wanna call it.. It's a good idea to put a amount on side for that, whatever amount you can afford.. Consider it has any other bill...

    Good luck

  3. Gas and electricity, Council Tax (in UK, dont know otherwise), Water, Phone, TV License (UK again), Net and Rent. Plus food, transportation etc., but i was just thinking of my direct debits

  4. That sounds about right. You should call your utilities to see what the re hook up fees are. Some Utilities have huge hook-up fees and others don't.

  5. clothes!

  6. You will have installation fees and probably deposits for all those utilities.  Renter's insurance is important.

You will also have a large expense for basic cleaning supplies and tools -- mop, bucket, broom, etc really adds up quick.  Likewise basic kitchen stuff -- measuring cups/spoons, utensils, mixing bowls, etc. and basic kitchen supplies -- salt, pepper, various spices, flour, sugar, etc.

  7. If you have a car you need to add in car insurance. Medical and or Life insurance as well for yourself would be nice and smart but not actually mandatory.

  8. heat? depending on where you live like in cold climates landlords might charge you extra for heating costs
