  1. I set my dead snail outside under the tree. Eventually it decomposed, and just left the shell.

One time, I had such a large tank, I didn't notice when my snail died. By the time I found it, it had been dead so long, it just fell out of the shell.

So I would remove the shell from the tank, and place it in a container of water, then leave it for a few weeks or even up to a month. as I said, eventually the snail will just fall out of the shell.

  2. I like too save the shells too...I put mine in a small glad food container filled with water...just put it in and let it decompose...it takes awhile but happens eventually

  3. yo, dude thats creep... you DO know you can buy empty shells at stores like PetSmart ?? right?
