  1. Keep your speaker wires short. Don't form loops of the wires or keep extra speaker wire lying around just for use in future. Keep your mobile phone away from the speakers and the wires.

    Notebooks also have built in speakers and usually they don't have this problem, reason - better quality electronics (speakers, amplifier) and small speaker wire !

    Sometimes the problem may not be on the speaker side itself and can arise from poor quality amplifier or other electronics. Better speakers may help (not necessarily shielded ones). try the speakers which have an amplifier that can be kept away. Try searching for 2.1 speakers. These usually have amplifier built into the subwoofer unit and keep the speaker wires short.


  2. Probably not.  Cellphones put out a considerable amount of RF noise because they are extremely powerful devices, thats why they will drain a battery quickly during a call.

    Thats also why they are reputed to fry your brain cells too.
