Question:

When my urine goes into the toilet, it looks as if it has a thin clear oil mixed in it. What does this mean?

There is no apparent separation, and no apparent difference in colors, but it definitely looks like two different liquids mixed.

This happens in any toilet I go in, so I know my urine is not mixing with something else in the toilet.

I have interstitial cystitis (painful bladder disease), but I have not heard of this as being a symptom of the disease.

My doctor looked confused when I ask him what it could be. Others on this site have asked the same question, but from the questions I have read, no one had an answer for them. I am hoping that someone this time will have the answer! If not, then maybe a different doctor will; I thought I would asked the question before I change doctors!

Thanks!!! :)
