When nervous...what are some ways?

what are some ways of making yourself clam down, when you get nervous? any tips or advise...please and thank you

  1. I take pictures of myself with my camera. I know, silly but it usually calms me down.  


  2. Breathe deeply, and think about anything rather than school

  4. Take deep breaths and focus on the air coming in and out of your lungs (breathe in through your mouth and out of your nose). Try to concentrate on things outside of your person, when you start feeling really nervous, start looking around you, think about something you see, take yourself out of the equation. Also, focus on a positive point in the future, if school is feeling really difficult, think about (for example) going back home later and see your family, and just focus on that moment, knowing that it's going to come soon.

  5. tho some find it very hard to believe.. I am a very shy person..  the one thing that helps me is I repeat the ABC's in my head..

    I know, it sounds stupid but it works.  for me..

  6. Find some of your friends from middle school.  

  7. the people who like you will still be your friends whether your jittery or not. just think of that. it will help.
