When on holiday in South Africa what do you see?

This is a very broad question. Are you planning a holiday?

Obviously a lot of people come for the game reserves to see the big 5 animals.

There is also the city of Cape Town and the sunny beaches that attracts people

Then obviously the winelands close to Cape Town.

The Drakensberg Mountains.

The traditional culture, food and wine.

I dont know. Visit a tourism website.

I just returned from being in South Africa for two weeks.

The country is stunning. I have never been somewhere so beautiful.

Best places to go:

-table mountain

-cape town

-durban

-game reserve [gorah elephant park is the best]

-drakensburg mountains

-johannesburg

Just be in mind that it can be very dangerous in major cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg.

They are having many problems with burglary. Make sure your always with someone who knows the area.

Usually sunny skies, people having a braai (barbecue) wild life in our game reserves, beautiful scenery, and everything else you would see in any other city as well, people cars, children and buildings

Try to get to a game farm or game park and see wild animals in their natural environment.

Also try to avoid big cities as they are usually a mess with crime. Go to the "country side Provinces" like Free State, Northern Cape and Northern Natal.

Try to get to holiday resorts in the Drakensberg region.
