  1. You are referring to Answers, right?

I would trust my intuition mostly (not entirely) and ask the person if he/she is so and so (whoever I think he/she might me) and say why.

Some people change their nicks because they get tired of the same ol' one they've had, so I prefer to clarify before necessarily making assumptions.

  2. I just let them express their selves.  I can perceive their ulterior motives, and deceptions.  I say nothing about my personal life, and I do present my perception of them, and any attempts of duplicity.

  3. From what I have seen (and I have been in this situation before) I would trust your instincts. If a person is talking to you on line and is using a different user name and not telling you that he/she is, then they are up to no good. Don't talk to them, they are probably setting you up, and you don't need friends like that.

  4. probe a little...see what you find.

but know that a true intuition (hunch) comes instantly, not after a lot of consideration...a lot of consideration is more like imagining...so i'd probably dismiss that

but if truly dont know either way, probe a little!  dont torture yourself wondering, find out.

  5. Intuition, its there for a reason.

  6. whatever floats your boat, besides most people on chats are not who they say they are, just don't meet them
