When one plays a computer game is it honest in your scores?

This is a silly question, but I'm new to playing games on the computer. In, for instance, Blasterball, I have a feeling that my scores are elevated and I'm not really that skilled in my playing.

If you are using yahoo, don't.  They are known for being buggy and having cheaters take advantage of the computer glitches.
