  1. More often, for me, laughter sets in (or at least surprise at the masks i've worn to the costume ball)...self-observation finds me rolling on the floor at recognition of my own self-sabotage, my self-importance, my skewed and entrenched thinking.  Coyote Medicine is more humorous than bitter...just watch a few of the Roadrunner cartoons.  Coyote cannot see himself in the midst of his confabulations...he just keeps on doing the same old thing, expecting different results (this is the definition of "crazy").  Coyote is my greatest teacher, though when i look in the mirror, i tend to see an image of Sirius, rather than Coyote.  i'm working on polishing the mirror, however. When i become totally skilled, the mirror will disappear along with Sirius and Coyote.

    i am Sirius

  2. Self is nothing with out the corresponding selflessness, it is in others that we become all that we can be through service and caring.

  3. Not necessarily.Maybe the need to change ones self is felt but that doesn't it doesn't follow. It depends on the individual.

  4. No what follows usually is stubbornness, so in a sense its yourself pushing back at the thought of not being perfect. But we know that we need self examination so we become anxious to redeem our self image and I suppose in a worst case those of us who fret and worry about themselves without any reasonable confidence often need therapy. Hence manic depression.
