I have failed my driving test twice and its been for the same thing, not being close enough to the curb. I'm going back to take it next week for the 3rd time so any advice would be helpful. Thanks! =)

  1. You look at the car behind you and use that to judge your distance. I'm not sure but i think they allow you to lower your side mirror pointing it at your rear wheel.

  2. POINT THE REAR OF YOUR CAR AT THE FRONT OF THE CAR BEHIND YOU AND KEEP IT LINED UP ON BOTH SIDES WITH THE EDGES OF THE PARKED CAR . THAT WAY YOU WIND UP THE SAME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE CURB AS THE ONE PARKED .

  3. as you are backing, when your front passenger door is even with the very rear of the car beside you, start turning your wheel.  perfect every time.

    Watch the video.

  5. What I do is this...put your right blinker on and pull up next to the car that is in front of the space you want to park in.  Turn your wheel to the right and start to back in to your space.  When your front wheels are even with the other cars back wheels, turn your wheel to the left, and you should end up in perfect position. Have your folks or a friend take you out so you can practice and you won't be so nervous.
