  1. Yes, of course

Where I live ,..........you will get a ticket if parked in the opposite direction...and I think that is pretty standard

  2. depends if you going with the traffic or not

  3. If the cop wants to be a jerk and you are parked the other way you can get a ticket.  I lived in Philly for many years and they only started to do this.  I haven't had a ticket for that yet but watch out for the meters, parking too close to a fire hydrant and parking on side walks!

  4. Unless the street signs indicate a one way system, you can park either direction. Parking with the flow, usually makes it easier to get out and back into the traffic.

  5. You must park in the direction of traffic.

  6. I'm not sure what the laws are in PA, but this is a smart question and I wondered the same thing.  in the UK and elsewhere they do this all the time and  its actually easier, faster and safer than parallel parking

  7. no, it's the same everywhere else that is public.  when you park, the car has to be facing the same direction that traffic is moving

  8. yes becuase to park in the wrong direction you have to drive in oncomming traffic (which is illegal not to mention dangerous)

  9. You ahve to park in the direction that traffic goes. That's with any street...not just streets in PA.

  10. Uh yah

  11. Yes you do.  Here in New Jersey, it's the same:  you have to park in the same direction as the flow of traffic.  If you park on the opposite side of the street and you're parked in the opposite direction of traffic, you can get a summons/ticket.  My sister parked in the opposite direction on our street (and it's a side street off a main road) and she got a warning from a cop.   So, yes it's true.

  12. Yes you must park in the direction of traffic otherwise you could get a ticket for driving wrong way.

  13. you park the same direction because they need it to fit && flow. if you park in all different directions, no matter where you live, a firetruck cannot fit through in an emergency.

  14. You can park in any direction, but you can't drive in the wrong direction. That makes parking in any direction impossible.
