When passing a rugby ball how does one throw it so that the nose eventually points flat and then dips into?

the receiver. At the moment the nose points slightly upwards for the whole pass, and hence doesnt travel as far.

  1. Get  your hands set one over the other on the ball. When you make the pass put more pressure on the top hand to keep the nose pointed level. It'll take some practice but that'll do the trick.
