Question:

When people have visions, do they think they are seeing with their eyes or do they just have an impression?

For example, are visions sometimes visions of the "third eye"

with the sighting being an internal event? What about those who have heard voices predicting the future? Are those voices actually heard out loud, or are they just "heard" in some other way.

  1. Me, as a Psychic, we see it through out 3rd eye. Or myself, at least. the voices, i think its in our heads or impression.

  2. Well, I believe that people have these visions or hear voices because they posses supernatural abilities.  Think of it as a sixth sense that a person has to help them overcome certain obstacles in life.  No, I don't believe that these so called "voices" that people hear are heard out loud in front of everyone.  These voices are heard in someone's heard because he or she posseses paranormal abilities.

  3. They see with their Chakra or Third eye.

  4. Your question is as broad as the answer. The information can come to the same person in any number of ways. Some use tools so that they can hone in on the specifics. Some feel comfortable with voices, some switch back and forth, some do automatic writings, some have visions and still others just know, that is what I call "the knowing" , information, just whole and complete, no explainations.

  5. I thought I wouldn't have an answer for this...but I remember a couple of visions. One was extremely vivid..just like the tv screen. I was awake .It was like on a movie screen beside my bed.It was a casket with a man with a beard in it and his shirt was off.The casket was open to his waste. Nobody I knew at the time..that I knew of. It was in color. It was as clear as if you were at the movies. My eyes were wide open and I saw it with my eyeballs!! lol

Another time...wasn't the same. ..less vivid..but I could tell what he was wearing.

And another time...2 men in black robes..talking. vivid..but not as vivid as the first.

I wasn't trying to make any of these happen. If I did any it was the second one. But still...how could I have known he was wearing a white robe and had on black & white saddle oxfords?

I wasn't astral traveling for any of them.Don't even know how to...and don't want to . Wasn't sleep paralysis . I was wide awake...eyes open. I think I might have been seeing "prophetic" things. I hate prophecies. Don't want to have any or hear any. Why can't prophecies be good???

I think the second two might have been people astral traveling...or astral projection .

  6. When I have my visions, it's usually for myself. I used to get this strange and sudden shock from it, but I got used to it...Some ESPers CAN be dreaming of astral projection, but I have yet to do that.

  7. Ususally when people have a vision it pops in there head it dosent come up in the eye that would likley be impossible

Say you are looking at a lamp and in your head a daydream comes up of the lamp falling

this is a vision you are seeing into the future and then that lamp suddenly falls

This vision was not controlles by you so you cannot look at something and imagine it falling and it happening this visions happens by itself

Vision is visual perception via the visual system; one of the senses

In psychology, visual perception is the ability to interpret information from visible light reaching the eyes. The resulting perception is also known as eyesight, sight or vision. The various physiological components involved in vision are referred to collectively as the visual system.

  8. They see with the occipital lobe of their brains.  The eyes are nothing more than a transducer.  You see with your brain.  We all see in the brain (dreams, real-time vision, imagination)

  9. Pascha - I'll tell you about my experiences with 'visions'. My visions are projected outside of my mind - meaning that it projects itself into our physical environment (it looks like a hologram). I do sometimes have internal visions (in my minds eye) - but the external ones are much more memorable.

An explanation for how these occur externally: In neurology, the right brain controls the emotional side of thinking, such as imagination, feelings, empathy, etc. The right eye is controlled by the right brain, whereas the right brain controls the rest of the body on the left side. My external visions are projected through the right eye - and I will verify this because I have actually felt it. Whenever I start having a vision in my external environment, my right eye would hurt a bit and I could feel the vision being channeled through my crown chakra and out of my right eye. It hurts, but only because I haven't gotten used to it.

    *Hope this helped....

  10. i believ with the minds eye, or third eye

  11. I get both....some I see in my mind's eye, and some I see through my third eye. But I have to be in that state of sleep right before you fall asleep but you're still conscious, you know? These visions are clearer than the ones I see in my mind's eye.

As for hearing voices... I hear them, I hear spirit voices and the voices of my guardian angels. I hear them both inside my mind and outside my head, with my physical ears, but the words in my mind are louder, stronger.

    peace and love to you

  12. Sometimes both, but mostly it is with the Third eye, unconscience trance or  conscience trance.

  13. That's the problem: a vision takes over physical sight, leaving a person blind to everything else  *but* the vision for however long it lasts. Fortunately, such things seldom last more than 20 to 30 seconds at the most; not like the Faye Dunaway character in the movie the Eyes of Laura Mars where her visions went on for several minutes or more.  :-)

  14. its usually an impression but can be your eyes also.

  15. Thats a good question. In the book of Revelation John wasn't sure if he was in or out of the body but he knew he was taken up into heaven and shown the heavenly city.

I knew someone who saw a vision of the Lord that appeared in her minds eye with triumphal  power. He gleamed with the strength and brilliance of the sun, and had  the biggest, radiant smile that she had ever seen. She said it reminded her of the Fathers heart receiving a prodigal son.  This person said that she thought she had a vision of the Heavenly Father and not of Jesus. She wishes that she knew.

She did not hear any voices but saw it in her minds eye.
